Prelude:
Two erratic sides. Two sides who have fired in fits and starts. Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders have struggled to find momentum in the IPL 2020.
KKR sit fourth on the points table while SRH follow them in the fifth spot with one less win. SRH's bowling has performed creditably while KKR's attack has put on below par performances. The point can be capsulised by the fact that KKR have taken the fewest wickets amongst all eight teams since IPL 2019.
In a major boost to KKR, Sunil Narine was cleared by the IPL's Suspect Bowling Action Committee and his name has been taken off the suspect action warning list.
Meanwhile, SRH's major concern has been their batting hasn't fired in unison. The Hyderabad franchise tends to depend on the duo of Bairstow and Warner. Williamson too has chipped in with crucial runs from time to time.
Can KKR change their fortunes under the new leader, Eoin Morgan? Or will SRH make a move by overcoming their nearest rivals on the points table?
We will have all the action in a few minutes...
